S&S opened in 1996 in Gilbert, Pennsylvania.  The original location was formerly a skating rink and quite small - but this did not deter good racing!  Five years at this location - then the Smith Family expanded the business purchasing the Stroudsburg property in 2001.

​

Family owned and operated by the Smith's till 2025 - S&S Speedways offers clean family fun for all ages!  We take pride in offering fun racing, side by side action, with friendly competition to take the checkered flag!

In June 2025 - after 28 years in business - Randy & Denise Smith decided to sell S&S to spend more time with family passing the racing flame on to a new promotion team.

The Indoor go-kart facility has expanded the weekday hours to Tuesday through Thursday 5-9pm and kept weekend hours of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for public hours.  Still offering offering private parties weekday evenings and weekend mornings and evenings before and after closing time for your special occasions!
